Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

If you are able to bear the weight on your limb without much pain then a bone injury is unlikely. You need to continue with rest and ice . Most of the times it is a soft tissue injury but it takes 1-2 weeks for the pain to subside.
I suggest you to visit an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
