General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems the cake was at fault (old and infected) creating the symptoms. Continue to take ORS. Drink sufficient water and ORS to avoid dehydration. Drink light liquid diet like light or black tea / coffee, butter milk, lemon water and coconut water. Use salt and sugar to avoid electrolyte imbalance. Take rest. Usually infection is controlled within a few days. If no relief / symptoms increase, consult your physician. In signs of dehydration you may need IV saline. Please consult your doctor / ER.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
