How To Treat High Eosinophils Count Leading To Wheezing In Children?

My kid is 5 1/2 years old and is prone for wheezing often... The last time she got the same it lasted for more than a week and we always have a nebulizer standby to support her with asthalin and iprovent vials. Since allopathic medicines were supporting during such attacks and I failed to see a lasting result and I felt it was just like treat it when you get it types, hence went for a consultation with a homeopathic practioner. Had been given to understand from him that my kid has got high eosinophils count which is why the allergic reactions or wheezing is more often... As such I can even understand the kind of medication he gives in to treat this concern unlike allopathy where I can google things out understand the effects and side effects of a medicine. I am literally confused now on how to proceed, since I am not clear on how serious will a eosinophils problem would be for my child and am I on the right path of treatment to cure her... Please guide me with your expert opinion.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Increased eosinophils in this case is not the cause of disease rather it is the result of disease. Kid is having childhood allergy .You will have to give him anti-allergic and bronchodilators orally or via nebulizer. The childhood allergy generally becomes less or goes away completely on its own as the child grows in age.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
