How To Treat Hardness In Left Testicle Due To An Injury?

Hi,

I got hit in my testicles today with a squash ball. I went to the emergency room and the doctor who checked me said that they are not bleeding. I came back and took a shower and I feel that my left testicle is harder than the right one. Should I be worried?
Thanks

Welcome to health care magic.

1.If you have any suspicion after a trauma to scrotum / testis - it can not be ignored.
2.May be the doctor examined didn't find any obvious findings to send you for further evaluation.
3.But if you have any differentiation - get an appointment and request for an ultrasound scrotum.
4.That will give the cause for the hardness, weather or not having good blood supply, and collection surrounding, chord thickness and vascular pathology will be assessed.
5.Yes you should be worried if you have any discomfort after a trauma to testis. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
