How To Treat Fever And Occasional Cold In A Toddler?

I son 1yr 7month old was having mild fever for 2-3 days. We gave him Crocin on SOS basis. Earlier he was not showing any signs of cough or cold. Now there is no fever since 2 days but he seems to be a bit dull and though he is not coughing when he sleeps he seems to be snoring. Soon after waking up his voice also seems to be bit heavy. When he cries nose starts running. What is the probable reason? Which medicine can be provided to him e.g. T-minic or Relent plus
