How To Treat Dog Bite Wounds?
I was bitten by a dog about a month ago. There were four puncture wounds, two of which were more severe. My leg was badly bruised but the bruising is mostly gone. The area around the the 2 worst wounds is swollen and very hard. It hurts if anything touches the area or the wounds. Should I be worried that there is something more seriously wrong with the bite area?

I understand your concern.First thing-You need to take the full course of antirabies vaccination as soon as possible,(0,3,7,14,28).
The wound area seems to have infected.You need to take a course of antibiotics and along with it apply topical antibiotic ointment over the wound.Keep the wound area clean.
This will help to reduce the swelling and pain in the bite area.
