How To Treat Cough?

Hi I have this cough for about 2 weeks which I think could of been caused by been exposed to bleach as one day I used it too much to clean with and felt in my chest since that something is not right.what should i do ?am I in danger and what kind please thank u

I can understand your concern.
Cough is common after bleach inhalation.
But it is usually self limiting and resolve itself in 1-2 days.
But in your case, you are having cough since 2 weeks, so we need to rule out bronchitis.
Bleach inhalation actually causes inflammatory reaction in the airways.
This reaction is short lived. But if patient is smoker or the exposure is severe than patient can develop Bronchitis.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). PFT is needed for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators, inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), oral antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
