How To Treat Cough?
I have had a consistent chunky cough for 2.5 weeks now. I feel completely fine but it almost sounds like I am a smoker. I have yellow phlegm that comes up at times and other times not. It is more annoying then anything else and I just want to know when this will go away! Thank you!

You need to have a proper evaluation of cough by the following investigations -
1. Chest X-ray
2. Spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility
3. Sputum eosinophil count.
4. Stool ova parasite
5. Sputum for acid fast bacilli
You should consult a pulmonologist soon and get yourself thoroughly examined and go for the above said investigations to get an answer to your cough.
