How To Treat Choking Sensation And Pain In Throat Caused After Swallowing A Spice?

I have a single whole ground black peppercorn got swallowed onto the airway line behind the wisdom tooth on the left side. Can feel it when i swallowed saliva hurts on left side.tried to drink plenty water, gargle, sneeze it. Will the whole peppercorn got dissolve eventually?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The peppercorn may not get dissolved if it has got impacted in the throat.
You need to get a clinical assessment of the throat and upper aero-digestive tract to look for any impaction of the peppercorn.
If there is no sensation or pain then there is low possibility of impaction, however, clinical assessment is necessary.
Thus, I suggest you to first consult an ENT specialist.
If the upper aero-digestion tract is clear then chances of impaction are low.
Thus, a clinical assessment is necessary.
