General & Family Physician 's  Response
apart from pain killers there are some simple home remedies for shoulder bursitis-complete rest to the joint when pain attack occurs, application of ice and hot packs 15 min each for twice day,one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water daily, use dimethyl sulphoxide, mix a solution of one part water and two parts DMSO and store it in a glass container. Using your fingers or a cotton swab, rub the DMSO directly into the paiful joint or application of hot castor oil pack into the affected joint.
Apart from these measures getting exercises done under a qualified physiotherapist guidance also relieve pain as well as improves mobility.
during menopause diet like low salt, oil, sugar, spicy food and avoiding junk, taking fresh fruits, veg, soya and regular exercise like walking 30min daily will be helpful to maintain health.
