How To Treat Broken Facial Bone?

my 28 year old son was in a car accident 4 days ago. they did a cat scan for head injuries and said he has broken bones in face and sent to specialist who said he couldn t help him; he needed to go to dentist but he won t because he has no dental insurance. He says his face is numb; who do we see now? He also bruised his left leg, shoulder and arm. today he said he couldn t breathe (he tried to go back to work as a chef) and complained that his stomach hurt and his left shoulder hurt so bad he threw up.His coworkers said he turned blue and he was sweating profusely. he was prescribed antibiotics, and oxycotin but said he ate before he took them.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a fasciomaxillary surgeon at the earliest. The numbness can be due to entrapment of the nerves and has to be corrected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
