How To Treat Breathlessness And Back Pain While Having Angina?

Hi. My Nan has angina and sometimes struggles to breathe when having an attack. She also has a bad back so we rub her back in with deep heat. The deep heat is quite strong smelling and I just wondered whether nan was ok to still continue to use it. It doesn t cause her breathing problems currently. Thanks Hayley

Hello,

When the anginal attack is giving different symptoms, the management
of angina with anti anginal drugs relieve the symptoms along with
- Preference for the semi-reclining position.
- Deep breathing.
- Making her to breath fresh air as possible. Need immediate physician attendance in case of no relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
