About three weeks ago I got hit in the shin very hard by another teammates leg. It was very painful, but I acted fine. It still hurts just standing on it and it red and bruised it is also very swollen. I know a bruise shouldn t last this long, so what did I do to it?

It doesn't appear to be a bruise as you think it to be, it seems to me to be a fracture, so better get an X Ray done & & confirm there is no fracture. I feel there is a fracture & needs rest & a knee cap over the swelling t reduce the edema. And analgesics for pain relief & to reduce the swelling
