How To Treat A Round Hard Lump In Belly?

My son is 15 months old. I found a round firm lump in belly. Its not always visable,except for when he is running. He was diagnosed with reflux around 4 weeks and wakes with belly pain frequently at night. he had an ultrasound but they couldnt find it,no was it visable at the time

hi,
lump when straining can be a herniation in abdomen..
there are a varieties of hernias(with history you provide it seems to be epigastric hernia)
hernias at this age dont cause any problem but for swelling..
they generally heal by themselves..nothing to worry..
if it causes pain then it is a concern...
i know you will have a lot of doubts,i would be happy to answer your queries..
note: a picture of the swelling will be a lot of help for me to understand condition..please upload if any
