How To Treat A Horse Fly Bite?

Good evening,
my husband has been biten by a horse fly (we think) last tuesday on the calf. Now after two dats is very red on the area was biten and the ankle got very swollen. He's applying cortizone 10 from this afternoon but he's still feeling hot feeling and hitching. what should he do?

I would suggest you following things:
> Take levocetirizine one at night for 5 days
> Avoid touching the area with dirty hands
> Take acetaminophen for pain(if occurs)
> Apply polyfax plus ointment on the site of bite.
> Wash hands before and after applying medicine.

Report to hospital if:
> Condition remain same after 2-3 days
> Any unusual symptom appears
> Condition deteriorates or there is change of skin color (blue or black).
