How to treat a child with wheezing?

My child is wheezing now at first she started off with a runny nose then next she started to cough I gave her childrens benedryl 12 hours later she gained a fever and along with the fever came the wheezing now Im giving her children motrin shes 3 yrs old.

If you suspect wheezing, it is imperative that you consult with your doctor. Wheezing has several causes. However, if the cause is associated with the lungs, treatment is most likely necessary. Your doctor will be able to perform the appropriate evaluation and prescribe a treatment plan.
