How To Treat A Burn Blister On The Thumb And Finger?

I have a really bad burn on my hand between my thumb and finger. I have1 large blister and several small blisters. The hand is red and swollen. This just happened this afternoon. I did run it under cool water when it happened but it still blistered. I put vitamin E oil on it. Is that good or not? What should I do at this point.

Hii.
As per your case-history of burn my advice is-
1. Make small slit in big blister using a sterilized needle to get fluid out and prevention of further filling of fluid.
2. No need of vitamin E oil application
3. Avoid soap or any other irritant application on lesion
4. Apply Topical anti-biotic like fusidic acid cream (fucidin) twice daily on all lesions. Take oral NSAID like ibuprofen or diclofenac for pain and swelling.

Thanks.
