How To Treat A Bump At The Head?

hi, im a 26 year old male, i was washing my hair and noticed a hard penny to nickel size bump on the back of my head right in the center, at the height of the top of my ears. i didnt notice this yesterday and has me puzzled. no injury, no pain. can you shed some light?
