How To Test For The Presence Of Fibroid Tumor Under The Armpit?

have you ever known of a situation where the patient has a fibroid tumor under the armpit and one where the breast meets the under arm present with the tissue on the ribs under the arm is swollen and painful and what I would consider two long dimples in the skin? If so is it possible that the tumor may not be a fibroid as I have read that there is a type of tumor that presents like a fibroid but is actually cancer and this could mean I may have cancer this time? I typically have grown fibroids for the last 38 years and have had 16 removed and one papilloma tumor as well. I do not have a credit card sorry

Hello,

It is less likely to be cancer, as fibroids have different characteristics in ultrasound and mamography. But, in such case, needle biopsy would help put your mind to peace.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
