How To Switch From Trigestrel To Triphasil?

Hi Dr. I was using trigestrel. Was drinking my last pill yesterday which was the first red pill. Now I switched to triphasil and not sure should I start at Tuesday with the red pill witch mean I will not finish my whole row of red pills. Will it affect my hormones by switching? Can I fall pregnant easily now?

Hello,

You can switch from Trigestrel to Triphasil with Kot any concerns. You can take the second pill on on the Triphasil and continue as usual.

It won’t result in contraceptive failure and no back up methods are required.

Hope I have answered your query.
