Hi,

You can continue breast feeding till 2 years of life .but you should start solids at completion of 6 months. Steps to start complementary feeding:
1. Start with semisolid and switch to solids
2. Don't feed with milk at morning, start with complementary feeding in the first place. The child will be hungry and will take
3. Change the food often and make it different variety

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rajmohan, Pediatrician
