Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Renal stone removal depends upon the size of renal stone and site of renal stone. For example a 10mm stone in ureter would be easier to remove by medication via urine but a 10mm stone in lower pole of kidney would not be easy to remove with medication. Depending upon the site and size of stone it can be removes by variety of ways like Lithotripsy Medications, Open surgery and Uretroscopic removal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
