Hi, I have had a growth on tongue for over 5 years. It's white in colour positioned front just off centre. The best way to describe it is similar to a large skin tag. It isn't painful but obvious to my partner while kissing. Can this be cancerous? How do I get it removed?

hello thanks for the queiry,,it could be leukoplakia ,,do u smoke??either ways consult a oral physician for a check up and treatment,,since it comes under potentially malignant lesion,,so consult an oral medicine and oral surgeon for exicision or incision biopsy if it is small in size,,it could also be frictional keratosis if u have shrp teeth margins,,eitherways dont worry,, take a opine..hope it helps,,tc
