Hi and welcome to HCM

I understand your concern, but increased heart rate (Tachycardia)/pulse rate in pregnancy is normal. The increase in heartbeat might begin when you conceive and might last till the time you go in labor. It may last through your delivery too in some cases.

The presence of a growing fetus in your body is one of the main reasons for the increase in heart beat of your body. In such a case your heart needs to work harder in order to ensure that proper nutrition is available to the growing fetus as well as you.

There is a significant increase in the blood volume somewhere around 30 to 50 %. This will need the heart to pump the blood out faster.

So increased heart rate in pregnancy is normal and it is not necessary to be worried. But observe for swelling in legs, vomiting, blurring of vision. If these happens consult your doctor.

If nausea is bothering you then ask your doctor for medications. Usually nausea and vomiting will come down by second trimester.
