Hello,
there is no definition of "normal" when it comes to bowel movements, some go daily, some multiple times daily, some every few days. If you feel you are fully emptying, this may be your "normal." Consider increasing water intake and fiber intake . Eating chalk is a condition known as pica, or ingestion of non food material. Chalk can cause diarrhea and would cause you to have more stooling, but is not a good long term remedy to assist you. Avoid eating non food materials.
