How To Reduce The Power In The Eyes?

I am wearing glasses since i was in 5 class.. At that time i had -2.0 power in my eyes...every year my power used to increase Now a month before i went to a doctor as i was not abke to clearly see things...before going to the doctor I had -5.0 in my one eye and the other has -.50 more than the former I want advice from the doctors that what i should do to reduce my eye power....now my power is -6 and -6.5 in my eye with 2.0 cylindrical power in both.... Plz guide me....regarding diet and exercise....

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern that as the power of your eyes increases, you need to wear thicker glasses.
Well, try to understand that there is no special diet or exercise which could be advised for refractory errors like myopia or hypermetropia.
To avoid glasses, all you can do is use contact lenses.
Other wise, it is better to undergo refractory correction by surgery on your cornea called as 'radial keratotomy'. This would give you a permanent cure for your eye problems.
Kindly consult Ophthalmologist for opinion and management in this regard.
