How To Reduce Burning Pain In Wrist And Thumb?

I have burning pain in my wrist, near the bend of the wrist and into the thumb. It comes and goes. If I exert tension or pressure onto it. it causes a shooting,, burning sensation. What do I need to do to get this to go away. It has been going on 3-4 weeks. I did some gardening before the flare up

Treatment of it is rest to joint and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B complex and Vitamin C help in healing.Bony affections can be confirmed by x- ray.
