How To Reduce Burning Pain In Knee And Hip While Standing?

Hi, I was trying to find out how to overcome the burning pain in my right knee when standing for just a short while (I have had a scoping of a meniscus tear 5 years ago). I am suffering from chronic pain, especially at night, in both legs and hip area. Since I am used to sleeping on my sides, it now seems impossible to find a comfortable, pain free position to sleep, even placing a pillow under a leg does not help. By the way, On the 7th of July I am scheduled to undergo a R hip replacement procedure. Bur for right now, I have to get up from sitting at this keyboard because I have reached my limit of pain tolerance in my upper back and both thighs. Is there any solution for me, and is this upcoming operation the only way out? Please help, Erika

Hello,

The burning pain and discomfort while standing with difficulty in sleeping do need basic care as:
- Assisted physiotherapy
- Avoidance of particular postures
- Analgesic as Tramadol Hydrochloride, Ibuprofen or Diclofenac with antacid after meals
- Pregabalin
- Control of blood sugar

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
