How To Recover From Superficial Phlebitis?

I am 32, 5'0", 145lbs. Had a baby 5months ago.
Sunday I saw a vein that looked broken in my left leg. Went to doctor, he said superficial phlebitis, it'll go away on its own. Ordered a sonogram for blood flow. But I have been experiencing some tingling in my left arm, and just a strange feeling. Today my left eye "beat" for a minute or two. Worried about stroke possibility.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, these are not symptoms of stroke. Do not worry at all.
Phlebitis and other vein problems are quite common around pregnancy.
It would be fine in a few weeks. Phlebitis usually revolves in a few weeks.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
