How To Prevent Pain In Jaw Caused Due To TMJDs?

i am 27 years old i have TMJDS. i have pain on the left jaw and my doctor has prescribed me to take flexon mr when the pain is unbearable and put heat in this area. l also wear night guard while sleeping i want to know whether this condition is curable and how can i prevent it.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question,
the TMJ disorders have no permanent solution but the intensity of pain can be managed...you can take piroxicam 20mg once daily on first day and twice daily for the next 6 days...you can stop flexon mr...continue hot fomentation over the jaw...check the thickness of the splint if its more than 2mm it worsens the condition...if all these things doesnt work then you can for joint lavage with saline or autogenous blood..or other surgical modalities...consult a maxillofacial surgeon for needful...i hope my answer will help you..
