How To Overcome My Baby's Loose Motion, Vomiting And Fever?
my baby is now 1 year old she has loose motion,vomiting and fever for last 4 days and her motion is yellow colour and smells sour .doctor can you please tell me what happened to my baby and how to rectify my baby problem.she is taking breast milk.now no fever and vomiting

Majority of the loose motion caused in children are due to virus that is rota virus. The infection is usually self limiting.
All that is required is supportive care to prevent dehydration.
Home made oral rehydration solution along with breastfeeding can be undertaken.

I can understand your concern.
Monitor for signs of dehydration.
They include
1. Decreased skin turgor
2. Increasing thirst.
3. Sunken eyes.
4. Irritability.
5. Drowsiness.
6. Decreasing passage of urine.
Oral rehydration solution or any other solution containing salt and sugar should be given after assessment of hydration status.
Probiotics and Zinc prescribed by your doctor will be useful.
In case of further dehydration the child requires Intravenous fluids.
Continue to ask further queries as required.
