How To Overcome From Tongue Restrictions After An Operation For Clipped Tongue?

hello
my 1st son has cliffed tongue and got operated when he was 5 years old.he is now 11 years old and having speech thearpy from last 2 years.still he has some tongue restrictions like
he can not move his tongue tip on left side
he can not lift it to touch it to nose
he can not ballon shape of mouth
he can not hold his tongue to touch the pallate to make "t"
can please recommend some exercise
it will be helpful

hello...read through ur query and in my opinion i think your son has got tongue tie...end of his tongue might have got attached to floor of mouth...bcoz of that his tongue cannot be raised and all...nothing to worry in that...as far as if he doesnt have any complaints ragarding speech..it need not be corrected..but if he has any difficulty in speaking go to a dentist and check for his lingual attachment and can be excised by a small procedure.....nothing to worry in that...there cant be much difference with tongue excercise....so hope you got my answer...have a nice day!!!
