One of my friends just told me that he is bipolar 2. We had been messengering each other almost daily up until the middle of June. He then just wasn t responding until July 3. He then told me at that time that he is bipolar and cannot let anyone into his life because of his disease; he has no friends, and wants to shut me out because it is to hard for him to let someone into his safe place- he gets very anxious and depressed, wants friends but doesn t want me in his safe place. The only person he has in his life is his elderly mother, who will not be here forever. I want to support him and let him know that I care and want to be someone he can let him, but I don t know what to do for him. Any suggestions? Jennifer Rideout
