How To Normalize My Menstrual Cycle?

Hello dr, I have taken primount nor 10 mg thrice a day for 3 days. Today is 5th day after stopping the pills,but still there are no periods? What should I do next? Am I pregnant or should I wait for couple of days for periods to get started? Please suggest. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
After taking Primolut medication and stopping, bleeding should take place by 5 to 7 days. It needs to be taken ideally 2 - 3 days before the expected dates of your regular periods.
You can wait for 2 more days. If you are sexually active and still the periods does not happen, it would be ideal to undergo following investigations.
1. Urine Pregnancy Test.
2. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
Kindly consult Gynecologist with report for proper evaluation and management.
