How To Lower Blood Sugar Level While On Atorvastatin?

My Family Physician prescribed Atorvastatin 40 mg two months ago, my blood sugar jumped from 110-128 almost immediately and continues to rise. I called the nurse but was told to stay on it until I see him, but my blood sugar now is at 352-372 each morning before eating. What should I do?
