Hello.
Thank for your query.
Noted the history of your 2.5 year old daughter swallowing a penny on Monday. After X-rays and watching she finally passed it on Sunday around 3 pm. followed by a big poopy diaper, she has not passed motion after that and says it hurts, wants to know whether to take her to the Doctor or try to give her something natural.
Since your daughter has passed the penny and a bid poopy diaper, it is possible that there might have been development of a fissure in ano.
First of all try the following at hoe and if not relieved take her to the Doctor.
Sitz bath, means sitting in a tub with warm water.
Pass a glycerine pediatric suppository and she may pass the motion.
If this fails, it is better to take her to the Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and get her prescription based laxative, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines
