How To Heal Broken Wrist?

my son has broken his wrist on the 19 of dec he had his first xray and all seemed fine but since then he s ulna bone has moved since being in a cast, they are doing another xray in a couple of days to see if it has moved and if so they will be putting a pin in. now my question is if his ulna bone has nt moved again and no pin is needed can he fly 17days after his break or is the pressurized cabins in an aircraft still going to affect him and make more swelling and is there any reason that a doc can t cut his cast for a 4 hr flight and then be replaced once off the plane ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to fracture.

For further assessment you may require X Ray after orthopedician consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

You may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Till then use sling support.

Restrict your movements

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.
