How To Heal A Boil On Inner Part Of Right Thigh With Oozing Green Pus?

I have a boil on the inner part of my right thigh next to my vagina it popped and stinky green puss came out then it started draining the green puss and some clear liguid it has done that for 2 days then this evening it started draining blood. Is this normal or should I go to a doctor?? I have been cleaning it w peroxide and keeping a bandage on it

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM,

Seems to be a case of bacterial infection of the hair follicle(foliculitis/furuncle).

Bacterial infections are common in this region because of the presence of lot of resident bacterial flora, sweating and friction.

Shaving in this area can also be one of the causes of infection.

If i was your treating doctor i would have advised you an oral antibiotic (penicillin group e.g Amoxycillin) for a week along with an OTC antibacterial like mupirocin 2% ointment twice daily.
