How To Get Rid Of Surgical Gauze After Having Abscess Drained?

i recently had a large abscess drained on the side of my vagina. after 30 days and after dr removed drainage tubes i still have surgical gauze sticking out.. i did have two surgerys the first one did not help in drainage and i was returned back to surgery my surgeon removed my drainages but there is still gauze what do i need to do?

It is most likely a leftover gauze otherwise there is no reason to keep a gauze for so long. It would rather promote infection. Therefore I suggest you to kindly contact your operating surgeon as soon as possible.
