How To Get Rid Of Dry Sores On Face?

I have four dry sores on my face of which two have white centres now they do not itch but very sore if I touch them. I have tried all kinds of antiseptic ointment and oils over the past 12 months which do not help at all. They have got bigger over the last 3 months. They start as small dry spots. Can you help me please. I am 69 years of age and can no longer cover them up with makeup. I lead a very active life, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.

Hello dear, I have gone through your history. Here are some advice i would like to give:

Use mild, warm water instead of hot water. Warm water relaxes your pores and makes it easier to wash your face, but hot water can cause your skin to dry out faster.

Only use mild facial cleansers. Body soaps are too harsh for the skin on your face, so you should look for a cleanser specifically meant for your face.

Pat your skin dry. Never rub a dry towel over your skin after washing your face. Instead, gently pat your face dry with a dry, soft towel.

Apply a moisturizer after washing your face.

Trade an exfoliating scrub for a baby's washcloth.

Protect your skin with petroleum jelly. Occasionally apply a thin coating of petroleum jelly over areas of your face that dry out easily to lock in your skin's natural moisture.

Wash your skin with milk. Strange as it may seem, milk is both a natural cleanser and a natural moisturizer.

I hope this helps. Have a nice day.
