hi i have cough with a white sticky phlegm for several months now, been the doctors several times and they gave me syrup, cough is gone while im taking the syrup but as soon as i finished my meds its coming back. now im worried that this might not be a simple cough?

there may be associated infection or allergy. clinical examination and investigation to diagnose the real cause is tobe detected. once it is ascertained then effective treatment can be given.
