How To Fix Popped Muscle In Jaw Due To Yawning?

Hello, last night I yawned and all of a sudden I felt this pop under my jaw bone where my neck starts on my left side and this sudden pain took over. It feels like a popped a muscle out of place, it is so painful to swallow and even speak because it feels like I have a huge lump in my left side of my throat. Its been all day and it still hurts, how can i fix this or will it fix on its own? I have tried heat and massaging and its not working. What can I do? Thank you

Dear
I can understand your concern .
There is acute spasm if jaw muscle . Most of time this becomes normal after some time. If it is not responding to your massage and warm compress, i think you need pain killers with muscle relaxant .
Continue doing those light massage and heat application and simultaneously discuss to your doctor for medicine .
It will be alright after taking painkillers and muscle relaxant .
Hope this will help you . If you have any other concerns please feel free to message me . Thanks for contacting HCM .
