How To Discontinue Nexium For Gastritis Without Any Side Effects?

I was diagnosed with gastritis about 4 years ago at the age of 62 yrs. & have been on Nexium ever since. I am concerned about the long term use as I have read it not only can cause osteoporosis, but kidney damage/failure & dementia. I would like to get off, but am scared to as I remember how absolutely terrible the burning was before I started the Nexium & I couldn t stand that again. How do I go about getting off Nexium. I would also like the recipe to try Persimmon tea.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you have completed the course of drug then you can stop this medicine and you wont be having symptoms of burning again and if this happens then you can ask the doctor for differential diagnosis, but you can stop the medicine it can not be taken for long time hope this information helps.
