How To Deal With Alcohol Addiction?

Pain on feet, legs due to Neuropathy caused by Alcohol addiction. My son-in-law taking oxycodone. I am concerned due to his addiction with alcohol. Is there anything else he could take? I would assume oxycodone would be the last drug to take on the list? Thank You Fred Hollembaek YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Your son needs to take high dose of B complex and multivitamins as this will help stop his neuropathy.

Do note that Oxycodone is a drug of addiction and he needs to stop it. He needs to be admitted into a rehabilitation program that will counsel him to avoid these addictions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar

yeah a LOT.
Burning mostly means a nerve is having problems. This can be either a sick nerve or a nerve that has had an injury. Electrical, shooting would be others implying nerve source for pain. Nerve pills not only are not addictive, they are often useful in coming off of alcohol.
Any nerve pill such as anti-epileptics or lidocaine or amitryptiline are helpful for nerve pain and not addictive.
