How To Cure Red, Often Watery Eyes With Occasional Itching Along With Uncomfortable Throat?
my eye is red and has been this way for 2 days. it itches on occasion but not often and it tears every now and then. my throat does not hurt. it feels irritated and like there is something in it but there is not. i tried washing it out with water and putting a cold compress on it. but didnt help. please help

Hello, It is my privilege to be able to help you, As you are having red eye with itching and soar throat, it may be due to viral infection affecting the eyes and the upper respiratory tract. Most of the time viral infection are self limiting it will reduce by itself by 4-5 days. I would have suggested 1. Frequent washing of eyes 2. Donot share your towels 3. Drink plenty of water 4.Do salt water gargling 5.Use antihistaminics eye drops. Your symptoms will come down by this, if it is persisting consult your doctor. Hope you are satisfied with this answer.
