How To Cure Bloating?

I am 34 and work a job that requires me to be seated in a chair the majority of the day. Occasionally I begin to feel extremely uncomfortable and maybe even bloated. I am not sure how to tell if this is due to the sitting or if there is something wrong. I do not have regular bowel movements and I've been eating healthier (more fruits and vegetables and lots of water) as well as exercising regularly.
