How To Confirm The Presence Of Pin Worms In Stool?

I've been having nausea and dizziness; and I recently did a stool test and they just found pinworms. I kept going back to the doctor and they kept saying it was pinworms; and gave me vermox. However, yesterday in my stool I found a worm over 4 inches long... is this still pinworms, or are the doctors wrong? (I've been to 3 different ones)

Hello,

I understand your concern.

The diagnosis is confirmed by the stool test in your case.

You can repeat the stool test just for confirmation.

I would be taking Vermox as an effective treatment for pinworms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
