How To Confirm The Accuracy Of The Pregnancy Scan?
My wedding was on 17th april 2011 when i was ovulating. now i am pregnant and on scanning the report provided me with my fetal age showing 7weeks and 6 days. as it has only been 7 weeks after our wedding. i just wanted to about the accuracy of my scanning report regarding this date issue. please help

The pregnancy is calculated from date of last menstrual period. It is not calculated from date of sexual intercourse. It is possible that if you had wedding on 17 April 2011 then your last period was in March 2011. Subsequently you might have had sexual intercourse just after your wedding. As you were ovulating, the time was perfect for a pregnancy. This means although you had sex after 17th April, the date of pregnancy is calculated from the last date of previous menstrual cycle.
