How To Confirm Pregnancy?

So I was on depo and have been off for almost nine months now and every ovulation test I have taken has been negative up until last week I took a positive ovulation test a week ago and a day before I found out I was ovulating I has unprotected sex and about 4 days after I found out I was ovulating my cramps stopped but still no period, could I be pregnant. And when should I take a pregnancy test?.

Hello,

It is possible that you could be pregnant in this situation. Typically ovulation occurs about 2 weeks before your expected period, and the pregnancy test turns positive around that time, so 2-3 weeks after getting pregnant. So I would check about 2 weeks after you had unprotected sex, and if it is negative, and you still haven't had your period, you could check again 3 weeks after, and by that time the test should be positive if you did get pregnant.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
