How To Calculate Ovulation Date?

Hi doctor my name is Joyce from Uganda and lam desperately in need of your help. I got pregnant in 2013.but due to personal situations l had to abort my baby.but now l feel its the right time to conceive and the worst part is that we have tried to conceive in vain.l don t know whether the problem is with me or my new boyfriend 2) my menstrual cycle fluctuates btn 24-26days and l don t know when my ovulation is.pliz l need ure help please.thnx.

Hi Joyce,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It appears that your cycles are pretty regular, except a couple of days early. Hence your ovulation should happen between day 8 to day 15, counting from day 1 of your periods.
Hence you can try from day 7 to day 18 to happen naturally.
If it doesn't happen in 3 to 6 months, you need to time properly by follicular studies.
Before this, since you had one pregnancy terminated, check your tubes for patency. Also get your new boyfriend's semen analysis done. This is just to make sure that primary things are alright.
